If so, this is the class for you. Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for their free Public Education class, “Flowers for All Seasons & Vertical Gardening” on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Learn about year-round color and vertical hanging garden ideas from Master Gardeners Sandy Hendricks, Frances Levien, and Deborah Millhollin. Handouts will be provided. This class is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. All classes are held in the GSA Building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9 a.m. until Noon.

Jackson, CA...On January 22, 2020 at approximately 1620 hrs., the male below was contacted in the area of Highway 88 in French Gulch Road. in Pine Grove, California. The male was located in a ditch, with a head injury, did not know who he was and did not know how he sustained the head injury. Medics responded and ultimately transported him to Sutter Amador Hospital where he was admitted and treated for his injuries. Upon questioning, he was unable to recall his name or any information that could be used to identify him.

A chance of rain and snow in the morning, then rain and snow in the afternoon. Highs 28 to 43 higher elevations...39 to 49 lower elevations. No snow accumulation lower elevations...2 to 4 inches higher elevations. Snow level 5500 feet. Prevailing south winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 35 mph...except southwest 15 to 35 mph over ridges.

On Hwy 4 you will need to chain up 3 miles east of Murphys. On Hwy 108 at west Twain Harte engage the 4wd. Hwy 120 travelers will need to chain up at Priest Grade. Details are below...
