Pioneer, CA...From the Amador Sheriff's Dept..."On January 23, 2020, ACCNET agents acted on an anonymous tip and served a search warrant at two different residences in Pioneer. With the information provided and evidence found on scene, two felony arrests were made for narcotic related offenses and child endangerment. Thanks again to the citizens of Amador County for continuing to report suspicious activity."

Our dormant season (late winter to early spring) is a wonderful time to expand the options in your fruit orchard. Join our instructors as they demonstrate how to graft different varieties of fruit trees to provide an abundant, varied crop. Graft scions may be available for participants to take and try. Handouts will be provided. This class is free and open to the public.

Gardening in straw bales will give you a built-in medium that can be located and relocated from year to year anywhere you have a sunny location.
