Amador County, CA....The Amador Student Music Fund presents the 3rd Annual "For Kids Only" Music Show on Saturday, March 26th at 1pm. Starring GEFF CRAWFORD and ADAM GOTTSTEIN. Songs for Kids, Funny Songs, Sing-alongs and a magic trick or two... or maybe even three!!! Doors open at 12:45. Event held at Thomi's Banquet Room in Jackson, 627 South Highway 49. ADMISSION is $5.00 AT THE DOOR and A CAN OF FOOD FOR THE FOOD BANK.....

Tuolumne Takes Outage Derby....PG&E OUTAGE MAP IS BACK IN ACTION FOR CONTINUOUS UPDATES! |

Sonora, CA...As of this morning Tuolumne County is taking the outage derby with 111 separate outages affecting over 5,000 customers. Tuolumne County has the dubious distinction of having the most repair incidents system wide this morning. The latest area taking the brunt of the latest storm is just farther south with the Oakhurst area having road after road with downed lines and trees. Calaveras County had 37 outages affecting between 500 and 4,900 customers. The PG&E outage map is functional again after having an outage. Amador County has 6 outages affecting over 500 customers...

| Jackson, CA...Crews are on scene of a major injury motorcycle accident on Hwy 88 and Buena Vista. Apparently a pickup swerved to miss a vehicle at the intersection and struck the motorcycle. Please use caution in the area.. |

Body of Woman So Sadly Located in Sutter Creek Motel |

| Sutter Creek, CA....The Sutter Creek Police Department along with the Amador County District Attorneys office is investigating a possible homicide that occurred over the weekend. The woman's body was located at the Days Inn in Sutter Creek on Monday. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death. More to come as we receive.... |

The Mother Lode Friends of Music presents its annual symphony concert on Sunday, March 6, at 3 pm at the Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene, 14050 Ridge Road. This year's concert features the beautiful concerto for guitar and orchestra by Joaquin Rodrigo, with Jaume Torrent, one of Spain's leading classical guitarist as the soloist. Also on the program is the lovely suite....

Traffic Update...Injury Accident Near Ione |

Ione, CA....Medi-Flight has been called to a major injury accident on Camanche Road just north of Curran Road. It started as a vehicle vs a tree. The vehicle caught on fire and there was a report of a person laying in the Roadway as well. Both lanes are currently blocked. Please use caution in the area...

Amador County, CA....Born in Badaxe Michigan on March 4, 1920 Harry was the second oldest of seven children. His family soon moved to Pontiac Michigan where Harry grew up and went to high school. Harry's father died when he was 13 years old and his family was poor. Soon Harry joined the CCC Civilian Conservation Corp where he built park benches and drove a fire truck.....

Calaveras County, CA...."Not executing," answered Gino Alberts when asked what has been the Redskins' weakness in close games. Tuesday night the Calaveras Redskins lost a close one in Amador to the Buffaloes, 62-64. The Redskins have had trouble winning close games, with the exception of their rival Bret Harte, and when playoffs come around that could prove to be their downfall. As of January 31, they are ranked 8th in the Section for Division 4, and if they win the games they are expected to, they should make the playoffs. They can hang with the top teams, but need to work on closing out games to survive in the post-season. Alberts led all scorers with 16 points, and narrowly missed a potential game winning shot at the end of the game.
