Inmate Walks Away from Minimum-Support Facility at Mule Creek State Prison |

Ione, CA...California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) officials are looking for a state prison inmate who walked away from the minimum-support facility at Mule Creek State Prison on February 7, 2019. Inmate Zechariah Lee was found missing at 9:24 p.m. after an inmate count. On-duty staff immediately began searching the surrounding areas. Notification was made to local law enforcement agencies and CDCR’s Office of Correctional Safety.

Road Conditions & Chain Control Update...Hwy 88 Closed, Chains Needed on Hwy 4 & 108 |

Arnold, CA....Hwy 88 Still Closed Past Silver Lake for avalanche control in the Carson Spur area. Chains are needed on Hwy 4 from Arnold on up. On Hwy 108 your will need chains or engage the 4WD near Long Barn. Drive safe as there will be many slick sections at lower elevations as well.

Power Outages Drop to 4,907 in Amador, Calaveras & Tuolumne Counties As Crews Continue Their Work |

Arnold, CA....PG&E crews continue to make progress and the outage total has dropped under 5,00 as of this morning to 4,907. With a clear weather day today in Amador, Alpine, Calaveras & Tuolumne Counties...they should be able to get the bulk of customers back online soon and they will be continuing their work through the day and overnight if needed.

Arnold, CA....PG&E crews continue to make progress and the outage total has dropped to 1,774 as of this evening in Amador, Alpine, Calaveras & Tuolumne Counties they should be able to get the bulk of customers back online soon and they will be continuing their work electrons until are flowing.

Arnold, CA....PG&E Crews who were working out in wet freezing conditions brought 6,833 customers back online overnight. With clear weather on tap for today the bulk of the outages are expected to be dealt with today in Amador, Alpine, Calaveras & Tuolumne Counties...

Arnold, CA...By our rough calculations there are 13,495 customers in Amador, Calaveras, Alpine, Tuolumne & Northern Mariposa Counties waking up feeling a bit powerless on this stormy morning. The Hwy 88, 108 & 120 Corridors are bearing the brunt right now with a good sized chunk in the Mokelumne Hill, West Point & Mountain Ranch areas as well. Stay safe & bundle up out there...

Arnold, CA....Chain Controls are in Effect on our local Hwys. From north to south...Hwy 88 is closed at Carson Spur West of Kirkwood for Avalanche Control. On Hwy 4 you will need to chain up or engage the 4wd from Arnold on up. On Hwy 108 traction aids will be needed from Twain Harte on up.
