Arnold, CA...Road Condition & Chain Control Updates for Hwys 4, 26, 49, 88, 108 & 120. Closures on Hwy 88 have the Kirkwood area as an island. Hwy 88 is closed at the Carson Spur area before Kirkwood on the west and at the Carson Pass Summit area to the east. Chains are required on Hwy 4 from 4.5 miles east of Arnold. Hwy 26 remains closed from Glencoe to West Point due to mudslide repairs. On Hwy 108 you will need to engage the 4wd 1 mile past Long Barn to get up to Dodge Ridge. Stay safe and enjoy the snow...

Jackson, CA...On Valentine’s Day, Hospice of Amador & Calaveras announced the seven lucky winners in the 10th Annual ‘Take a Chance on Love’ Valentine’s Day Drawing at the Jackson Hospice Thrift Store. Livestreamed on KVGC Radio and Facebook, viewers and attendees at the drawing were also treated to a tour of the newly refreshed store while awaiting the names at 12 noon.

Hwy 88 is closed in the Carson Spur area to block access from the west. From the east Hwy 88 is closed in the Carson Pass summit area. Hwy 26 is still closed for repairs between Glencoe and West Point. On Hwy 108 you will need they traction aids east of Long Barn. Chains are required in Yosemite National Park.
