There has been a notable decline in student enrollment this school year in our local public elementary school system and an equally notable rise in the attendance of charter schools and home school programs. Is it a knee jerk reaction to over crowding and what is termed the “dumbing” down of curriculum, or is it the sign of the times?....

The Entrepreneurial Spirit is Alive and Well in Copper~by Charity Maness

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 09/25/2009 09:46 PM
Copperopolis, CA....Patty and Kenny Mosley have a dream of having their "Mosley's Memphis Sauce" becoming not only loved by all who try it (its phenomenal take my word for it) but to have it become a household name. From humble beginnings these two have managed to create a niche for themselves in this community with their excellent bar-b-que catering service complete with Patty's mother's treasured potato salad recipe and their own lip smacking, eye rolling, beg for more secret recipe rib and pulled pork sauce. (See the critique at a Bite of Calaveras.).....

"Welcome to the Country"~by Charity Maness

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 09/15/2009 08:28 AM
