New Supervisor interview 12/27/10...
#1. Now that you are in office, what do you see as the 3 most pressing issues in District 5?

1. Getting the bridge at O’byrnes Ferry and the county line fixed! Here is the latest. This is a response at my request after meeting with Public Works Director Tom Garcia.
Supervisor Spellman: The Plans Specifications and Estimates for the O'Byrnes Ferry Bridge Guard Rail Repair are complete. The Kelly's Had A Christmas Surprise!

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 12/27/2010 10:01 AM
The Kellys had a nice Christmas gift, too. Sgt. Dan Kelly was cleared to come home for a visit. So he is back in Angels Camp now for a week or so. He will be going back to Texas for more rehabilitation, but how wonderful for the Kelly family to be together. "We continue to get some great donations. Gary Burns of Take It To The Limit Guide Service contributed $100. Many customers have handed us money while they were shopping. Shots Energy Drinks continues to send us thousands of energy drinks to keep the guys on their toes. More customers have brought pillows, wool socks, etc. so we are able to keep boxes flowing into Afghanistan to the 101st Cop Monti every week." States Melanie of Glory Hole.

Dear Editor, Copper Fire is $250,000.00 in the hole . . . a special meeting was called to respond to this problem on December 23rd. The directors could not make a decision so they tabled the issue to next meeting. Station two is manned on occasional basis now due to this money issue making response to the southern district 12 to 15 minutes. People in coronary arrest die in 4 minutes. Next meeting is January 15th.
