At higher elevations, a chance of rain and snow showers early in the morning, then heavy rain and snow showers in the late morning and afternoon, areas of freezing fog late in the morning. Copperopolis, CA...Please be advised Calaveras County Public Works has issued a complete road closure of Copper Cove Drive between Black Creek Drive and Cheyenne Road due to severe road damage and flooding. The road will be reopened as soon as possible.

Arnold, CA...The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Tornado Warning for Southwestern Tuolumne County in northern California South central Calaveras County in northern California Until 315 PM PST. At 236 PM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Tuttletown, or near Sonora, moving east at 25 mph.

Arnold, CA...The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for West central Tuolumne County in northern California, East central San Joaquin County in central California, Northern Stanislaus County in central California & Southwestern Calaveras County in northern California Until 245 PM PST. At 145 PM PST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Milton, or 12 miles southwest of San Andreas, moving east at 30 mph.

San Andreas, CA...Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services and Public Works Department have added a 10th location for sandbags and sand at the Arnold Branch Library. Please limit the number of sandbags to 10 per resident and remember to bring your own shovel.
