Copperopolis, CA...I attended the recent Board of Supervisor meetings concerning commercial cannabis regulation. It was a hate fest with little good will and logic. Some thoughts: The problems with criminal activity relate to the black market grows, not the permitted ones. This was confirmed by the Sheriff and Ag Commissioner.

Road Improvements and Traffic Delays for O’Byrnes Ferry Road Left Turn Lane Project Copperopolis, CA

Copperopolis, CA...Beginning October 21, 2019 and continuing through the mid-December, the O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Duchess Drive intersection in Copperopolis will be impacted by construction to create a left turn lane and improve safety at the intersection. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the area. Construction will take place on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Traffic lanes will be reduced with the use of concrete barricades and there will be construction crews and equipment on the construction site.

Prevailing northeast winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southwest in the afternoon. Tonight Clear. Lows 29 to 43 higher elevations...39 to 49 lower elevations. Prevailing southwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the southeast after midnight. Saturday Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers. Highs 43 to 58 higher elevations...55 to 65 lower elevations. Snow level 7000 feet increasing to above 8000 feet in the afternoon. PG&E Restores More Than Half of Customers Following Public Safety Power Shutoff

San Francisco, CA... Weather Conditions in Nearly All Counties Now Safe to Conduct Inspections, Repairs and Begin Power Restoration; Majority of Customer Resource Centers Will Remain Open on Friday; Windy Weather Should Subside in Kern County by Early Friday. Pacific Gas and Electric Company reported late Thursday that more than half of customers impacted by the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) have had their power restored. About 426,000 out of a total 738,000 customers have been restored, including full restoration in Humboldt, Siskiyou and Trinity counties. About 312,000 customers remain without power.

New Backup Generator Now in Place for CCWD in Copperopolis

Copperopolis, CA...CCWD worked with PG&E last night to secure a backup generator for the Copperopolis Water Treatment Plant. It took until 3 a.m. Friday to get the backup generator hooked up and the plant running. Our water tanks were getting low by that point, and we need time to fill those tanks back up. We are urging all CCWD customers in Copperopolis to continue conserving water until PG&E restores power to all of Copperopolis.

PG&E Restores to 74 Percent of Customers Most Outages in Amador, Calaveras & Tuolumne Restored by 6pm.

San Francisco, CA...Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) reported Friday at 12:00 p.m. that approximately 543,000 customers impacted by PSPS have had their power restored, including full restoration in Humboldt, Siskiyou, Trinity and Yolo counties. Less than 195,000 customers remain without power.
