On April 8, 2015 the second public meeting for the SR 4 and SR 49 Gateway and Corridor Study was held at Bret Harte Union High School. At the meeting a presentation was given to inform the public of the outcomes from public meeting #1 and reviewed alternatives for land use and transportation improvements in the study area. This survey contains maps and images that were shown at our public meeting. Please take 15-20 minutes to share your feedback which will provide critical information for us to understand your vision for the future of Angels Camp. We appreciate you comments!
Copperopolis & Angels Camp, CA...This past weekend has been a busy weekend for Sgt. Bob Fienberg of the Calaveras County Sheriff Volunteer Unit. Sgt. Fienberg and two other Sheriff Volunteers, Louis Chiu and Ed Evans provided assistance and traffic control at two public events in the County. The first event was the Children Car Seat Safety Program where parents learned the proper way to install children car seats. The second event was a bicycle race that took place in Copperopolis. Copper Concerts Series Returns to Copperopolis Town Square Outdoor Performances Showcased Every Saturday Night in September

Copperopolis, CA...Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host the Copper Concerts series beginning Sept. 5th and continuing every Saturday through Sept. 26th. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. near the intersection of Town Square Road and Little John Road. Admission to each concert is free.

San Andreas, CA, April 6, 2015- Mark Twain Medical Center, (MTMC) along with other national, state and community organizations, are leading a massive effort to highlight the importance of advance healthcare decision-making—an effort that has culminated in the formal designation of April 16 as National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD). As a participating organization, MTMC is providing information and tools for the public to talk about their wishes with family, friends and healthcare providers, and execute written advance directives (healthcare power of attorney and living will) in accordance with California state laws.
