Saddle Up and Get Ready for Vacation Bible School at San Andreas Community Covenant Church

San Andreas, CA...It is time to saddle-up and get ready for Vacation Bible School at San Andreas Community Covenant Church, June 25-29, 2012. This year's theme is Son Creek Junction, a gold mining town. Children from ages Kindergarten through 6th grade will experience music, skits, crafts, games, snacks and Bible stories. There will transportation for children who live in the San Andreas area. To register or to receive additional information call San Andreas Community Covenant church at 209-754-3881.

More Details on Yesterday's Minor Injury Plane Crash

San Andreas, CA...We would like to thank a viewer for sending in some photos of yesterdays plane accident. There were two men and one woman on board when the plane went down in a field near the airport. The two males were not injured but the woman on board was some back pain after the accident. We will follow up tomorrow to see if we can get an official cause. Yesterday was very windy so various factors could have affected the small craft....

San Andreas, CA...Cheers could be heard throughout the site as approximately sixty graduating seniors proceeded into the gym at the San Andreas site of the Mountain Oaks Charter School for the eighteenth annual graduation ceremony on Friday, June 8th, 2012, at 6 p.m. As friends and family cheered their graduates on, each senior excitedly waved or smiled at their loved ones as they walked past in a procession to the stage, where the graduates would be presented with their certificates and a rose....

San Andreas, CA – The California Highway Patrol confirmed Thomas C. Land, 22 of Valley Springs, succumbed to his injuries sustained as the driver in a traffic collision on June 5, 2012. The collision occurred on Hogan Dam Road just west of Hogan Dam Parkway. Our office received confirmation this morning of Mr. Landi’s death from Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA. The San Andreas CHP office is disturbed to report that this is the third fatality this year in which the driving.....

San Andreas, CA....Patrice Pike, Austin singer/songwriter, returns to Calaveras Art Council’s Music in the Park series on July 11, 2012. She will be performing in San Andreas at Turner Park. Patrice Pike has spent her entire adult life behind a microphone and in front of an audience, first as the electric front woman for the seminal jam band Sister 7 and more recently as a solo artist. She charted two Billboard hits with Sister 7, and has toured and shared the stage with the likes of the Dave Matthews Band, Blues ....

San Andreas, CA...Yesterday a 32 year old Turlock was injured when his 2006 Honda went down on Mountain Ranch Road east of San Andreas. He was traveling westbound at approximately 55 mph when his Honda drifted to the right and off the pavement while attempting to negotiate a left hand curve. The Honda struck a wire fence and overturned...
