Calaveras County Seeking Proposals For Butte Fire Hazardous Tree Removal Program |

San Andreas, CA...The County of Calaveras, Public Works Department (County) is seeking proposals in an effort to obtain the services from qualified and experienced forestry professionals, arborists, or project management professionals (professional or Consultant) who will provide all project management and coordination services to oversee the County’s, 2015 Butte Fire Incident hazardous tree removal program.

San Andreas, CA...Neil Hjelmervik started leading the choir at San Andreas Community Covenant Church in 1990 and became the Music Minister in 2005. After many years of faithful service Hjelmervik has decided it is time to let another lead the music at SACCC. With family spread out across the country the freedom to travel and visit them is a joy that Hjelmervik is looking forward to.

Patient Comfort Is Goal For Diagnostic Imaging Team At Mark Twain Medical Center |

San Andreas, CA...The Diagnostic Imaging team at Mark Twain Medical Center knows their services can be scary. That’s why they concentrate as much on patient service skills as they do on state-of-the art equipment. Imaging Services Director Rick Reed explains, “We understand that our tests can create some anxious situations for patients. The equipment can be intimidating, so it’s important we help patients understand the process and make the experience as pleasant as possible. We emphasize these tests are a critical first step in their treatment.” The department provides a wide range of services and averages some 2,500 tests a month. On-site that includes general X-ray, CT scan, nuclear medicine, ultra sound, mammography, and MRI; plus a mobile PET CT that visits MTMC every other week.
