West Point, CA..Minor injuries were sustained by a 76 year old West Point Woman. CHP originally reported this as a head on collision and it was from the perspective that the fount of the vehicles did collide. We hoped however as the collision area was close to town that the speeds would be low enough to keep the injuries to a minimum. Luckily that ended up being the case. The CHP report is enclosed...

San Andreas, CA...The annual Fly-In & Open House at Calaveras Co. Airport was held this year on Saturday April 21. A good sized crowd spent the day viewing aircraft and classic cars on static display. Our the Lions Club will served breakfast, the EAA Mother Lode Chapter 484 put on a delicious tri-tip BBQ lunch, and the Calaveras Community Band will be provided musical entertainment. San Andreas, CA...A Fundraiser to help Sexual Assault Victims in the area was held last Friday Night at the San Andreas Town Hall. Tri-Tip for dinner and Plan B for entertainment made it a great night for all. The funds went to help victims get treatment and examinations here locally instead of having to be transported out of the area. Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital has donated a designated room at the Hospital for this purpose...
