Posted by: thepinetree on 05/02/2017 01:28 PM
San Andreas, CA...In October, a Meals-on-Wheels driver was heading to Arnold to deliver meals to vulnerable home-bound clients. The delivery vehicle was Common Ground Senior Services’ only four-wheel drive vehicle, and necessary to ensuring that those above the snow line received their meals. The vehicle was totaled, leaving the agency with no way to deliver meals during stormy weather. Not only did the insurance company total the vehicle, they only gave the agency ½ the amount Common Ground had paid for the vehicle just ten months earlier.
