Mountain Ranch, CA...Can You Handle The Mud? The 2018 Stop Drop & Mud 5k is April 28th! What is the Stop, Drop & Mud? We are proud to be bringing a mud run to Mountain Ranch again this year. For our 2nd Annual Central Fire Mud Run we are planning approximately 16 obstacles along the route that will range from fire fighter skills to strength and endurance tests. Participants will start and finish at the Mountain Ranch Park in the heart of Mountain Ranch. All participants will receive a 2018 Stop, Drop & Mud T-shirt.

Calaveras Airport Day 2018, Fly-In & Open House is April 21

Angels Camp, CA...Calaveras Airport is hosting their annual Fly-In & Open House on Saturday April 21 from 8am to 5pm. In addition to many aircraft flying in there will be aircraft, classic cars, & RC airplanes on display. Lions Club will be serving a pancake breakfast and for lunch EAA chapter 484 will BBQ hamburgers & more. There will be music throughout the day by "The Calaveras Community Band" and "The Rusty Rockers". Airplane rides are offered to the public; $10 for children & $20 for adults.
