Bear Valley Adventure Company's Trailblazers Youth Ski Program |

Bear Valley, CA...Trailblazers is a youth nordic ski program designed to teach cross country skiing through activities, games, and adventure. Families can choose one (Friday or Sunday) or both Friday & Sunday each week, depending on which meets their schedule best. Instructors will encourage a supportive team environment that still allows for individual growth. Groups are based on age and ability, where teams can progress skills and confidence appropriately. We have found that regular training quickly advances a child’s skills and creates a solid skiing foundation. This fun and physical program promotes a life-long passion for skiing and snowsports.

Ramat Gan, Israel...Dr. Nitzan Gonen, of the BIU Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences and the Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, together with research students Aviya Stopel, Cheli Lev and Stav Dahari, have produced artificial testicles that could significantly advance the understanding of the mechanisms involved in sex determination and provide solutions for male infertility, which affects one in 12 men worldwide. Dr Gonen specializes in the process of fetal sex determination.

San Andreas, CA...Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program. (The first year being Transitional Kindergarten and the second year a more traditional Kindergarten program.) Students may enroll in a Transitional Kindergarten program if they are five years old between September 2, 2024 and June 2, 2025. Parents and guardians may optionally enroll their age-eligible child in a Transitional Kindergarten program.
