All CUSD Schools Closed Will Be Closed Monday |

San Andreas, CA..All CUSD schools will be closed on Monday, September 14th due to the impact of the Butte Fire. When a decision is made to open any or all sites, or continue with school closure, further communication will be provided. We will continue to look at the overall situation, assess status and establish direction taking into consideration many factors involving the fire---and the impact on conditions and the people involved.. |

Calaveras Unified School Closures Due To Butte Fire |

San Andrea, CA...Due to the fire off highway 26 and the resulting power outages, school will not be in session on Thursday at Mokelumne Hill, West Point, and Rail Road Flat Elementary Schools. Bus routes in those areas will not be operating so Toyon Middle School and Calaveras High School students from those areas will be impacted. We plan to resume operations Friday at those sites closed today.

Domestic Animals During An Emergency |

San Andreas, CA...If you evacuated with your dogs, cats or any other pets due to the fire, make sure you have the essentials with you, e.g. food, water and any medication that your pet might need. San Andrea, CA... Due to the Butte Fire, and the significant impact on staff, students, families and our community, all CUSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, September 11. We plan to resume full operations on Monday, September 14. If this changes, you will be notified....

San Andreas, CA...September 1, 2015- Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) will be holding its 17th Annual Fall Health Fair on Saturday, September 26th from 7am to noon on the Hospital Campus in San Andreas. “Hosting our community health fairs allows us to express our gratitude to those that entrust us with their health care needs,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “Our health fairs benefit individuals that are underserved or working towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our providers and staff are here to share preventative care and health maintenance tips. Providing affordable health care services is one way we serve our community. Arnold, CA...The Vallecito Union School District will hold a Public Hearing at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the library at Hazel Fischer School located at 1605 Blagen Road, Arnold, CA. This Public Hearing will be held to determine whether each student in each school will have sufficient textbooks and instructional materials in each subject consistent with the content and cycles of the state curriculum frameworks during the 2015/16 fiscal year.

The campus will be open to parents beginning at 5:45 p.m. Parents should plan to arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. in order to pick up their student’s schedule.
