Church Of The 49ers "Homecoming Spaghetti Feed," November 5th |

Columbia, CA...The Church of the 49ers' History Committee welcomes all to its "Homecoming Spaghetti Feed" on Saturday, November 5th, from 5 to 7 pm in Columbia. The event features a full spaghetti dinner, and Alex Kash, a local singing talent and expert on the 12-string guitar and harmonica, will entertain the crowd in Faith Hall with favorite songs from the 50s, 60, 70s. A highlight of the evening is the unveiling of a Time Capsule, placed by the youth and church members in 2001 at the dedication of Faith Hall.

Sierra Repertory Theatre Founders Announce Retirement After 37 Years |

Sonora, CA...Dennis and Sara Jones, who founded Sierra Repertory Theatre 37 years ago, met recently with the Board of Trustees to announce their retirement. They will remain at the helm for the next nine months and plan to transition the leadership of SRT to Artistic Director Scott Viets as of August 1, 2017. Viets has been SRT’s Artistic Director for the past 14 years and is familiar to audiences as a director, choreographer and actor, most recently starring in The Drowsy Chaperone. Becky Saunders, a guest performer, stage manager and director with SRT since 1994, joins the staff in April, 2017 and will become Managing Director as of August 1, 2017.

Full autonomy will enable a Tesla to be substantially safer than a human driver, lower the financial cost of transportation for those who own a car and provide low-cost on-demand mobility for those who do not.

Angels Camp is truly the place where Mark Twain found his voice.” The Festival filled downtown Angels Camp last Saturday in what is becoming an annual tradition.
