Sonora, CA...On Friday, November 26, Sonora will be holding the38th annual Christmas Parade. This event will bring thousands of visitors to downtown Sonora. We encourage you to arrive before 5:00 PM to allow you time to park and find a spot to enjoy the parade. Once the street closures occur, vehicles will not be allowed into the parade route area, even if you are a participant in the parade.

Lebec, CA...On November 10, OR93 was found dead near Interstate 5 near the town of Lebec, California. Following a full investigation and necropsy, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has determined that the wolf died from trauma consistent with vehicular strike and does not suspect foul play.

Arnold, CA...November 26, 2021 at 8:00pm we will be holding the 6th annual Christmas in White Pines Parade of Lights. Join us as we light up the sky with a spectacular laser show over White Pines Lake. There will be a large Christmas tree lit up in the park at White Pines Park.

Angels Camp, CA....October 30 on the beautiful grounds of the Angels Camp City Museum the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance threw a Monster Mash Dance Party & Halloween Costume Contest. It was all for a good cause as 100% of proceeds went to the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance Covid Relief Fund. A few photos are below...

We’ll be there at 8:00AM with our friends from the Murphys senior center food pantry to collect your non perishable food donations. Kat Juarez will lead a warmup just before the race at 9:00. Murphys, CA...The Mighty Klassen Klassic Turkey Trot was back this Thanksgiving Morning in Murphys. The crowd started at the park and made their way down to Six Mile Road and head out towards Ironstone at 9am. *We asked organizers what were their crowd estimates and numbers ranged from 250 to 2,000. So of course we are going with the higher number. There were certainly thousands of smiles all along the Turkey Trot routes and lots and lots of food donated for the community.

Angels Camp, CA...The 11th annual, All Hallows Faire' was a two-day all-inclusive costume play event keeping in the All-Hallows tradition, the dead will be celebrated like never before! The Faire is deeply rooted in the beliefs of the Celtic people, but combined with all the fun and excitement of a costume play in the spirit of modern Halloween.
