Mountain Ranch, CA...Last Evening Two Tone Steiny & the Cadillacs brought Blues, Harp & Rock n Roll to the park in Mountain Ranch. It was another great show in the Calaveras Arts Council's Music in the Parks Summer Concert Series. We have Video and Photos below if you were unable to make the show. The Summer Concert Series is Wednesdays 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. On July 21st the Bob Eisenman Jazz Trio rolls into San Andreas. Alpine County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily close State Routes 4 and 89 to all traffic, except for emergency, law enforcement and support vehicles, for the 2021 Tour of the California Alps – Death Ride.

San Andreas, CA...Meet Belle, a Belgian Malinois estimated to be about 4-1/2 years of age. Belle was found wandering alone in the backcountry, emaciated and weighing only 30 pounds. She has gained weight on a special diet but could still use a few more pounds. Initially nervous and skittish, she has made great strides as she learns to trust staff and volunteers. Smart, confident and eager to please, the Belgian Malinois breed is known to forge an unbreakable bond with their human partners. Exercise – and plenty of it – is also key to a Mal’s happiness, preferably side by side its owner. Sound like the kind of girl to join you on your next adventure or run? Why not come by and visit this active but gentle girl today. Should you have another dog at home, a meet ‘n’ greet is required. This breed does have a high prey drive so a home without cats and livestock is recommended.

Murphys, CA...The final stop on our music tour last Saturday evening was the beautiful Brice Station Vineyards. Brice Station Vineyards Hill Top Concert setting is worth the price of admission all by itself. Last Saturday eve Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs graced the stage. Montana's favorite stomp-grass folk band brought their incredible talents to Murphys.
