Monkey is Missing! Help Him Return Home!

Posted by: thepinetree on 01/30/2022 03:16 PM
Arnold, CA...Our dog Monkey went missing from our backyard on Rancho Paradiso ( off Hwy 4 between between Avery and Arnold) about 6:30 (Saturday January 29). He’s a 14 pound mostly brown with a white belly chiweenie. I think he left through a gate that came ajar unnoticed, this gate backs up to Hwy 4 which is a few hundred yards from our backyard. It’s very unusual for him to wander more than a few yards away from his surroundings. Please call Guy West at 209-890-6407 if you see him, thank you.

San Andreas, CA...On behalf of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Rick DiBasilio is pleased to recognize the 35th Anniversary of the Calaveras County Search and Rescue Team’s existence as an official branch of the Sheriff’s Office. While previous Search and Rescue (SAR) teams have existed in Calaveras County for over 50 years, in 1987 the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution which authorized the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office to oversee search and rescue operations in Calaveras County which unified previous SAR teams.
