Provisional Appointment of Trustee for Area 4 |

The Calaveras County Board of Education is honored to have a highly qualified addition to the board. Janet Jones Sterling was provisionally appointed to the board to represent Trustee Area 4 on June 7, 2021. Sterling will serve the provisional appointment until the term ends in December 2022. Trustee Area 4 serves the communities of Altaville, Angels Camp, Carson Hill, Copperopolis and Vallecito.

West Point, CA... USFS R5 Shared Stewardship Advisor Program: ACCG-Hosted Virtual Presentation and Discussion, June 16th. The Amador-Calaveras Consensus Group (ACCG) will be hosting a virtual presentation on the USFS R5 Shared Stewardship Advisor Program on Wednesday, June 16th during the ACCG’s monthly general meeting. We will have a brief presentation by the USFS R5 Shared Stewardship Advisors about this program and their roles followed by a discussion with meeting participants. The Watering Hole Summer Concert Series Starts This Week!! |

Murphys, CA...This week The Watering Hole kicks off our Free Concert Series, most Thursdays from 5-7 and Sundays 1-3. Plan B will start rocking at 5 this Thursday, and the Highway 4 Blues Band will play on Sunday. Music is on the lawn. There is limited seating, so feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Also, on many Thursdays we have a Featured Local Brewery. This Thursday, we will have several special taps from Last Call in Oakdale, and representatives from the brewery will be on hand in the afternoon and evening.
