Arnold, CA... Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has begun construction on a microgrid designed to provide electricity to certain customers and shared community resources using temporary generation during future Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events.

Arnold, CA...Each of us have our own family and individual holiday traditions. This year they will be interrupted and changed for many of us. One of the casualties will be the many community sing along performances of George Frideric Handel's Messiah. May 2021 bring the return of live music again.
Winter Storm Warning Continues Through Tomorrow Morning

Arnold, CA...A winter storm will continue to move through the region today. Snow levels will be near 3000 feet over the mountains in Shasta County to 4500 feet for the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Locally lower snow levels will be possible. Significant snowfall is forecast over the higher elevation, especially this morning through the afternoon. If traveling into the mountains, be prepared for hazardous travel conditions. Carry chains, extra warm clothing and food, and be prepared for significant travel delays.
