Arnold, CA...The Annual Arnold & Ebbetts Pass Corridor Wildfire Community Preparedness Meeting. Is Saturday, May 4th, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Independence Hall, 1445 Blagen Road in Arnold. This annual meeting is a great way to raise awareness of wildfire risks in our area and how to mitigate that risk and be prepared in case a fire does threaten our area.

San Andreas, CA...Last Friday an unveiling ceremony was held to honor Dr. Bill Griffin's service to the community with naming MTMC's Medical Imaging Center the "William Griffin M.D. Diagnostic Imaging Center". Dr. Bill Griffin had served at the hospital since April, 1989, Dr. Bill Griffin has served our community as a Radiologist, Chief of Staff, and Corporate Board Chair.

San Andreas & Angels Camp, CA...High school seniors from both Bret Harte and Calaveras High Schools got a taste of adult life last week during the Second Annual “On the Right Track” program sponsored by the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce. The program is one-day event that brings students and the community together to equip students with skills for independence and introduce them to essential agencies and service providers throughout the county.
