Arnold, CA...You just can’t miss at the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation’s second annual golf outing, Swinging on a Star, Friday, September 13, 2013 at Sequoia Woods Country Club in Arnold. Set against the gorgeous backdrop of a high country autumn afternoon, the fun-filled event will include a putting contest, cart and 18 holes of golf, hole-in-one contest, snacks, dinner, awards and raffle all for just a $95 entry fee. Angels Camp, CA...It's that time of year again and we are busy planning another amazing night of fun, friends and of course raising money for our local Santa's Express! Last year we raised almost $15,000 for local families in need. There were some very happy children on Christmas morning when they woke to find toys and jackets under the tree and were able to enjoy a fabulous Christmas dinner. We helped over 1,300 families and this year the need will be even greater. Won't you come out and enjoy a night of good food, friend..
