Calaveras Big Trees Summer Seminars 2024 |

Arnold, CA...Seminars are held in the Ralston Classroom in the Education Center at the Park. The talks begin at 10 am, and run about two hours in length. There is always time for questions and discussion. Seminars are free and open to the public. No reservations are needed. Admission to the Park is $10 per car.

Let Jerica be a Part of Your Family Today |

Meet Jerica, a beautiful short-haired orange tabby who is about 2 years old. Jerica arrived at the shelter following her owner’s eviction and gave birth to four kittens a few days later. The sweet momma and kittens were raised in a wonderful foster home and returned to the shelter when the kittens were old enough to be adopted.

Arnold, CA...We're Calaveras Big Trees State Park, of course we have plans for Earth Day!  Join us next weekend, 4/20-4/21, and the day itself, Monday 4/22, to celebrate Earth Day!  Saturday and Sunday we will have an Inspiration Station from 11:00am-2:00pm by our Visitor Center where you can learn all the big and little ways you can help the environment. Plus, as you can see, there's a cute photo booth attached!

Drive in Movie Night at Bret Harte on April 17 |

Angels Camp CA...Students will come together on April 17th in the back of the Bret Harte student parking lot near the baseball field. Students will come in a vehicle, park, and watch the movie from the comfort of their own, or one of their friend’s vehicles. For those that wish to not sit in a vehicle a few hay bales will be provided so they may use them to sit on. Soda and water will also be provided.
