Washington, DC...The U.S. Secret Service has intercepted two suspicious packages addressed to Secret Service protectees. Late on October 23, 2018, the Secret Service recovered a single package addressed to Former First Lady Hillary Clinton in Westchester County, New York. Early this morning, October 24, 2018, a second package addressed to the residence of Former President Barack Obama was intercepted by Secret Service personnel in Washington, DC.

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept..."A week-long investigation by Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Detectives has ended in an arrest for the killing of a Jupiter man. On the evening of October 16th, deputies were called out to a home on Italian Bar Road near Rose Creek for a report of a man who had been shot. 31-year-old Scott Andrew Rockey was found dead outside his home.
Washington, DC...Between October 22 and 24, 2018, suspicious packages were received at multiple locations in the New York and Washington, D.C., areas and Florida. The packages are being sent for analysis at the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia. “This investigation is of the highest priority for the FBI. We have committed the full strength of the FBI’s resources and, together with our partners on our Joint Terrorism Task Forces, we will continue to work to identify and arrest whoever is responsible for sending these packages,” said FBI Director Christopher Wray. “We ask anyone who may have information to contact the FBI. Do not hesitate to call; no piece of information is too small to help us in this investigation.”

Suspects Arrested and Investigation Continues Into Home Invasion Robbery

Mokelumne Hill, CA....From the Calaveras Sheriff's Dept..."The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a reported robbery that occurred this morning at a residence near the town of Mokelumne Hill in Calaveras County. This is an active investigation and more information will be provided when it is available. The preliminary information on the case is as follows: On 10-23-18 at approx. 0930 hours a 32 year old female victim called the Sheriff’s Office to report a robbery at her residence. The victim reported she woke up to having several people inside her house and the suspects took money from her. The victim also reported that her vehicle was shot at by one of the suspects during the incident.
Calaveras County Sheriff's Office Eradicates More Marijuana Grows

San Andreas, CA...On October 17, 2018, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant onto a residence and property located in the 600 block of Ealey Road in Glencoe. Investigators seized and destroyed 48 pounds of processed marijuana, including marijuana which had been processed into various forms of edible items. Additionally, 455 marijuana plants were removed from a grow site on which an attempt had been made to disguise as a corn and vegetable garden.
Major Injuries to Ione Woman in Collision near Sandretto Road & Campo Seco Road

Valley Springs, CA...An Ione Woman was driving her Hyundai northbound on Sandretto Road (Pardee Dam Rd), north of Campo Seco Road, traveling at an unknown speed. As she was entering a left hand curve in the roadway for northbound traffic, for a yet to be determined reason, she allowed the Hyundai to travel off of the roadway and collide with the wood/metal guardrail. The Hyundai then continued over the guardrail, and down a dirt embankment. Her vehicle then rolled over, and came to rest, on its roof, submerged in Pardee Reservior. Citizens were able to pull her from the vehicle prior to emergency personnel arriving on scene. She was transported by Air Ambulance to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.
