Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Office...Yesterday afternoon, our office received a call of a suspicious, abandoned vehicle in the area of Snow Park. When deputies arrived it appeared the driver of the vehicle attempted to navigate around the gate but became stuck. Items belonging to the suspected driver, 31-year-old Eduardo Martinez Perez of Bakersfield, were found outside the vehicle along with footprints leading away from the vehicle.

Pine Grove, CA....Update as of 2pm Sat..Both Makayla and Lillian have been located and are safe. Due to the fact this is an active investigation, no further information will be released at this time. Previously...On the evening of March 5th, 16 year old Makayla Abbe and her 13 year old sister, Lillian (Lilly) Abbe ran away from home. They were last seen in the Pine Grove area. Makayla was last seen wearing grey sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt. Lillian was last seen wearing multi colored pajama bottoms and a tye dye hooded sweatshirt. The area was searched by deputies, but they were unable to locate them. If anyone has any information, please contact the Amador County Sheriff's Office

El Centro, CA...On the morning of March 2, El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents, at the request of the California Highway Patrol and Imperial County Sheriff’s Office, responded to two separate critical incidents involving one vehicle each near Holtville, California. At no point, did CBP/USBP attempt to stop or pursue either vehicle. The following timeline approximates the series of those events.

California State Parks Seeking Help in Burglaries at Rail Town & Columbia State Parks |

Jamestown & Columbia, CA...California State Parks is investigating one auto burglary which occurred in the Rail Town parking lot and two which occurred in the Columbia State Park last Thursday. The suspect(s) broke into three vehicles stealing bags, electronics, paperwork and credit cards. Anyone with information is urged to call Officer Jackie Olavarria (209)984-8703.

CHP Seeking Public's Help in Fatal Hit & Run That Took Life of Sonora Teen |

Sonora, CA...On February 28, 2021 at approximately 5:32pm, CHP Officer’s received a call that a 17-year-old female from Sonora was located in a ditch on State Route 49 near O’Hara Drive with what appeared to be major injuries. Upon the officer’s arrival at the scene, they located the injured female and suspected she was stuck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Unfortunately, as the female was being treated by medical personnel, she succumbed to her injuries. The identity of the female is not being released at this time.
