Very Large Stray Kitty Found in Bathroom

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/17/2019 06:01 PM
Sonora, CA...An intruder caught in the act! Last night, our deputies were called to the 16000 block of Oakhaven Lane in Sonora for reports of a break-in. The perpetrator slyly made his way through the open front door of the home. He did not threaten the resident or steal anything. After being spotted, he tried to make a run for it but ended up cornered in a bathroom. Fish and Wildlife were contacted and assisted our deputies in coaxing the mountain lion out of the second story bathroom window. He did get a stern warning about the break-in before being released.

Help An Arnold Man Recover His Prized Guitars!

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/16/2019 08:10 AM
Arnold, CA...From the owner..."Dear Pine Tree Readers, I’d like to inform the community to be extra vigilant if they see suspicious activity in their neighborhood. Sometime between Sept 2nd and 6th, my home on Elizabeth Drive in Blue Lake Springs was broken into and many of my cherished possessions were stolen.  Amongst the stolen items were 3 guitars that I purchased as a young man in the 1970’s and 1980’s.   They had tremendous sentimental value.  They also stole newer power tools (mostly Dewalt brand), chain saws, guitar amp, LCD TV, surround sound and stereo equipment, even some furniture and much more.

A clemency grant recognizes a person’s efforts in self-development, rehabilitation and prospects for successful community reentry. A clemency grant does not forgive or minimize the harm caused by the crime. People currently serving sentences in California prisons may apply for a commutation.
