Murphys, CA...A 44 year old Murphys male was arrested last evening for a DUI at Hwy 4 and Forest Meadows Drive. Due to his intoxicated state he rammed the gate at the entrance of Forest Meadows. There were no injuries involved. CHP release enclosed....

Crews are arriving on scene to an apparent vehicle collision at Hwy 26 at the Amador Calaveras County line. A vehicle appears to be off the roadway and possibly hanging over the edge. More details to come if needed. There is not lane blockage at this time. Update: 12pm, Roadway Clear.

Railroad Flat, CA....On December 27th, 2008, at approximately 8:30am, a 25 year old male from West Point was traveling northbound on Railraod Flat Road. Another vehicle with a 28 year old male also from West Point with 2 passengers was traveling southbound on Railroad Flat Road. A deer came off the side of the road and caused the vehicles to hit head on. Thank goodness, they only suffered minor injuries. CHP release enclosed.....

| Arnold, CA...There was a fire reported in Arnold early this morning around 1:30am. at the Grizzly Plaza Business Complex on Hwy 4. According to EPFD Fire Captain O'Donnell, Approximately 25% of the building was damaged including both floors. The fire originated in an unoccupied portion of the building. Crews were on scene for about 4 1/2 hours..... |

CHP is reporting a possible overturned vehicle at Hwy 12 at Evans Road. Ambulance is responding. More updates to come if needed. Please use caution in the area. Updated 7:15pm Roadway clear. This accident ended up resulting in Moderate Injuries to a 27 year old Male from Modesto who was transported to MTSJ Hospital. CHP release enclosed....
