Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Arts Council has had another great run of "Music In The Parks" this summer. Each Week they have taken their road show to another beautiful venue in the county. The turnouts have been impressive. This week brought Delta Wires a Seven-piece Rhythm and Blues Band Bash to Utica Park. They did a wonderful job entertaining the assembled crowd....

Murphys, CA...We are so fortunate to have The Murphys Community Club in Calaveras County....as they really know how to throw a party! They hosted the First of First Fridays for the Summer Season and it started off with a bang! The lovely Creekside Murphys Community Park was filled with locals, tourists and families enjoying a relaxing Summer evening. Dorian Faught, of the Historic Murphys Hotel served just under 200 wonderful dinners. Jazz and blues music was provided by James Faifua and the Jukes. It was the perfect Friday night....."Live" music, locals mingling, kids playing in the creek. We highly recommend this as a must do on the first Friday of the month. We have the full schedule enclosed along with video of the evening.....

Murphys, CA....The 2008 Ironstone Summer Concert Series season opener is Sheryl Crow and the Los Lonely Boys on Friday June 13th. Doors open at 7pm. Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards is located at 1894 Six Mile Road in Murphys. "We are very excited to start our 2008 Season with 9-time Grammy Winner Sheryl Crow and we are particularly pleased that the show includes the return of Los Lonely boys to Ironstone. This is an awesome show to start an awesome season." Says Ironstone.....

Vallecito, CA….The hammered dulcimer played by Scott Williams was the perfect backdrop for the eloquently relaxing evening at Irish Vineyards in Vallecito. Irish Vineyards held their fourth annual St. Patrick ’s Day dinner in their creatively decorated tasting room at 2849 Highway 4. Dinner was prepared and served by Tallahan’s Café in Arnold. Authentic Irish appetizers and entrées were served to many wine club members……
