Bear Valley, CA...The lovely new long awaited Silver Mountain Condo's are here! This the first new condominium project to be completed in Bear Valley since the 1970's. This project while not directly tied to Chuck Toeniscatter, led investment group that will be building a new Village Lift and Bear Valley Village is nonetheless a strong signal that even in tepid economic times progress is still being made at the top of the hill. This first phase of the Silver Mountain Condos consists of 20 units and over 100 planned. One thing that really impressed us was that these units felt and sounded almost vault like in their solid feel and lack of noise transfer between units. San Andreas, CA...This morning's Calaveras County Board of Supervisors meeting was a contentious affair to say the least. It runs just under two hours and the fast forward and rewind features will work as soon as we have made one pass. The Grand Jury Report had already influenced the public comment sessions and also near the end of the meeting the Board itself. The bulk of the meeting time was taken up with discussion on the upcoming placement of the county's bonds. The Replay and Summary are Enclosed...
