Angels Camp, CA...The Reggae in the Hills Music Festival, set for June 12-14 2015 at Calaveras County Fairgrounds, is excited to announce Ky-Mani Marley will headline this year’s festival on Saturday, June 13. Ky-Mani Marley (son of the legendary Bob Marley) is known for his hit songs such as “Warriors,” “Dear Dad,” “I Pray,” “Ghetto Soldier,” “Get High” and “Hustler.” Marley has been featured on tracks with the likes of Proteje, Albarose, Young Buck and The Dirty Heads...

April 18 is the eighth annual Mr Frog’s Wild Ride, a magical springtime cycling tour through Calaveras County that doubles as a fundraiser for Feeney Park in Murphys, a 15 acre community sports and recreation facility featuring a skate park, disc golf course, outdoor amphitheater, picnic areas and playing fields. Choose from a 50k or 100k ride with SAG support and plenty of snack stops along the way. A barbecue and finish party – with an included massage – make a great way to celebrate a great ride. This year’s route will showcase the southwestern end of the county with the poppy-studded hillsides of New Melones and the majestic oaks along Red Hill Road. Rob has years of experience, most recently (before opening his own restaurant) he was Chef at Ironstone Winery and taught their cooking classes as well. He is well known for his appetizers, soups, sandwiches and all around fabulous cooking. Murphys has been abuzz with praise for his new restaurant “Rob’s Place”.
