Arnold, CA...Join GABA, The Greater Arnold Business Association, for their March Mixer Monday on March 3rd! A new year, a new day and a new host! Our first general membership mixer/meeting of the year will be hosted by the Arnold Chapter of the Moose Club from 5:30 to 7PM. Welcome Readers....2008 is a Leap Year! So, instead of a 365 day year we will have a 366 day year. Leap Years occur every four years which helps synchronize the calendar year with the solar year. For all you non scientific readers out there this simply means the amount of time it takes our earth to complete its orbit around the sun....

Bear Valley Snow Report for Monday February 25th |

Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley had a Happy ending this morning. Their search and rescue efforts paid off as they found a missing snowboarder at 7:45am, safe and sound. They have received 27" of new snow in the last 24 hours. So all you Powder Freaks out there head on up! Remember to observe all posted warnings about the lower Mtn and please use caution as the avalanche risk will be EXTREME for the surrounding areas. PLEASE be safe! It looks like a beautiful week up at the mountain! Due to avalanche control, the mountain will not open until mid morning. Full snow report enclosed...

The night’s theme was "Moulin Rouge” incorporating one host, 24 dancers, and two fantastic jugglers.
