Sonora, CA...Sierra Repertory Theatre opens its first Fallon House show of the year with Noises Off, praised as the “funniest comedy ever written” by the New York Post and often acclaimed as the comedy by which all other comedies are compared. Murphys, CA...Murphys resident Wendi Bell has volunteered to head up the planning for the tenth annual Mr. Frog’s Wild Ride to be held in the verdant hills of Calaveras County on Saturday, April 15. “One of the first places I discovered when I moved here three years ago was Feeney Park, the beautiful location for youth sports and many other activities,” says Bell. “When I learned that Mr. Frog’s Wild Ride was a major fundraiser to maintain and expand the park I knew I wanted to be involved.”

Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley has announced a new 2017 spring season pass as well as its 2017/18 season pass. Both passes come with a variety of mountain perks and discounts including discounts on lessons, buddy passes, retail, food and beverage. The 2017 spring season pass provides unlimited lift access for the rest of the 2016/17 season which runs through April 23, and costs less than the price of two adult tickets. The pass offers the same perks as a full season pass including a 10 percent off retail, 13+ group lessons, food items and discounted buddy tickets, and can be traded-in for a 2017/18 pass if upgraded by April 30. The cost for an adult spring pass is $139 (ages 23+) and youth Spring pass is $99 (ages under 22).
