Murphys, CA...HONOR OUR VETS - Ruby Parlor No. 46 of the Native Daughters of the Golden West is holding their annual Veterans’ Day Dinner on November 11, 2017. This year’s event will be held at the Native Sons Hall, 389 Main Street, Murphys. The doors will open at 5:00 and festivities begin at 5:30 with a flag ceremony by Boy Scout Troop #343.

Jackson, CA...Amador FlyFishers (AFF) will be hosting a free Fly Fishing Faire Saturday, December 2, from 10am to 2pm at Detert Park, 530 Highway 49, Jackson, California. There will be booths with club members demonstrating the use of the tools of the sport and answering questions to help attendees learn more about the wonderful sport of flyfishing. There will also be hands-on activities. Most importantly, AFF will be highlighting its Youth Program which targets junior high and high school age kids and provides good hands-on flyfishing classes.
