All Day Mountain Ranch Community Club Hosts the 28th Annual “Christmas in the Country Craft Faire, Bake
Saturday, Novembers 30, 2013 from 9 AM to 4 PM the Mountain Ranch Community Club will host the 28th Annual “Christmas in the Country Craft Faire, Bake Sale and Luncheon” located at the Community Hall, 8049 Washington Street, Mountain Ranch.

Free parking will be available in the field across the street from the Blunder Inn.

This years Craft Faire will feature artists with a variety of unique handmade original goods. Bring your family and friends and do some Christmas shopping.

Our country cooks will be preparing a tasty hot lunch for the public and crafters, at a nominal price, available from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Christmas elves will be selling raffle tickets for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 for the unique items that all the crafters will donate. The raffle will be held every hour throughout the day .Winners need not be present to win.

And, we will have the very best Bake Sale ever, featuring a scrumptious assortment of desserts and breads baked by our community cooks, for sale from 9 AM to sell out.

We ask you, our community cooks to please send in a baked donation on Friday from

1 PM to 4 PM or Saturday morning from 7 AM to 9 AM.

The net proceeds of this event will help with the operation our non-profit Community Hall.

12:00 PM - 07:00 PM Old Fashioned Holiday' Festivities Coming to Copperopolis Town Square
COPPEROPOLIS, Calif.) – Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host its annual “Old Fashioned Holiday” festivities on Saturday, November 30 starting at noon till 7 p.m.

Event highlights include carriage rides from noon to 7 p.m., an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus at 3 p.m. and a tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Last year, Bing.com selected the Copperopolis tree as one of the 15 “most fabulous” in the world.

Children are invited to have their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 3 to 6 p.m. Local favorite Roen Russell Photography will be on hand to capture the keepsake images.

“’Old Fashioned Holiday’ is an ideal event to kick off this most special of seasons,” says Linda Stefanick, Vice President for Castle & Cooke Calaveras, Inc. “Come take a traditional carriage ride, enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies with friends and family, and see why our tree has been named one of the world’s best.”

Free, however, entrance fee $10 ($12 on holiday weekends) per carload applies. Guided hikes available year round. When the snow covers the ground they become guided snowshoe walks every Saturday at 1pm. Snowshoes are provided free, first come first served. No reservations are allowed. Check in at the Warming Hut no later than 12:30 pm.
