4th Annual Valley SpringsTurkey Trot
Come one & all to join in the excitement of the 4th annual Valley Springs Turkey Trot. This event begins at 8:00 am Thanksgiving morning at the Valley Springs Youth Center. The event is a 1 mile or 5K walk/run to raise funds for the Resource Connection Food Bank. Awards to the first top 3 finishers in each division. Sponsored by The Valley Springs Optimist Club. 6th Annual Klassen Klassic Turkey Trot
The sixth annual Klassen Klassic Turkey Trot will run Nov. 22 – Thanksgiving morning – in Murphys Community Park. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m. The race accommodates runners and walkers. Participants can choose between a 2.5 mile or 5 mile course. Admission to the race is a can of food, donated to local food banks. Cash donations are also accepted. A race shirt, designed by Klassen’s daughter, will be available for $20. Shirt proceeds go toward helping local families in need. For more information, call Brian Klassen at 607-5073.
