All Day Camanche Hills Sporting Clay Benefit Shoot
Ione, CA...Gold Country Shooters and Calaveras High School Sportsman Club Members will be hosting their first sporting clay shoot at Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve on Saturday October 26th. Tickets are $85.00 for 100 rounds with lunch included. No cost Lewis Awards and an Alumni Award will be given to the best shots. Check in is at 8:00AM and start time is 9:00 AM. Family fun event at historic Knights Ferry, California held at the height of the salmon migration on the Stanislaus River. See the historic covered bridge; visit the historic town of Knights Ferry and see all the hands-on kid friendly booths at the Festival. Practice for the Big Day! Join our chefs Nicole Sass and Shawna Hawkins for a cooking class featuring recipes for your Thanksgiving feast. Take the mystery out of preparing a big meal! 10 AM and 6 PM sessions. $30 per person.

Available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please call to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.
12:30 PM Guided Hike, Big Trees State Park - 209-795-3840
Free, however, entrance fee $10 ($12 on holiday weekends) per carload applies. Guided hikes available year round. When the snow covers the ground they become guided snowshoe walks every Saturday at 1pm. Snowshoes are provided free, first come first served. No reservations are allowed. Check in at the Warming Hut no later than 12:30 pm.

SAN ANDREAS HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL!

San Andreas Halloween Carnival sponsored by the San Andreas Merchants and the
San Andreas Recreation & Park District

The Carnival is Saturday, October 26 at the San Andreas Town Hall
from 4:00 – 7:00.

There will be lots fun games, old fashion cake walk, snack bar, downstairs will be the spookie haunted house and the costume contest on stage

Admission $2.00 per person or $5.00 per family
One-half of Proceeds benefit SAE 6th Grade Science Camp

Kids of all ages are welcome.
