06:00 PM Hospice of Amador and Calaveras 16th Annual Art on the Lawn event "Under A Tuscan Sunset"
Hospice’s 16th Annual Art on the Lawn Event: A Chance to Help Others and an Evening of Fun

If you have wondered why you haven’t seen or heard about this year’s Art Auction yet, it’s because the event was pushed to the fall, in hopes of cooler temperatures. The terraced and Tuscan-inspired grounds of Karmѐre Vineyards and Winery in Plymouth is once again the setting for Hospice of Amador and Calaveras Counties’ 16th Annual ‘Art on the Lawn’ Art Auction, which will be held on Friday, September 27th at 6:00 pm. The event typically attracts about 200 guests. This year’s theme is “Under A Tuscan Sunset” symbolizing the peaceful final sunset of one’s journey on this earth.

It’ll once again be a special evening under the stars, sipping champagne & award winning wine, a live musical performance by Jake Guidi, strolling through the gardens perusing all of the lovely one-of-a-kind local artwork, bidding on great raffle and silent auction items, savoring Italian-inspired cuisine amongst the harvest-ready vineyards, and the highlight of the night – the exciting live auction!

As Hospice's main fundraiser, this event is made possible through generous donations by local businesses and artists, enabling Hospice to serve the more than 300 or so families who reach out for palliative care each year. Hospice, which has provided end-of-life care to patients and families in Amador and Calaveras Counties for over 30 years, extends its services to everyone in need of it, regardless of their financial situation.

Special thanks to Todd Pickens & Marilyn Hoopes for again generously donating the use of their beautiful winery, Karmѐre Vineyards & Winery, for this year’s event, and to Larry Angier, for graciously donating photo usage of the gorgeous sunset photo he captured from Cooper Hill, for this year’s theme.

Major sponsors of the 16th Annual Art on the Lawn event include the American Legion Ambulance Service, Mark Twain Medical Center, Sutter Amador Hospital and Karmѐre Vineyards & Winery.

Tickets are $50 and they are selling fast! To get your tickets today or to reserve a table, call ph. 209-223-5500, go online at www.hospiceofamador.org or visit any of the following locations: Gold Mine Jewelers (Jackson); Hospice Administrative Office (Jackson); Karmere Winery (Plymouth); Fine Eye Gallery (Sutter Creek); Jackson and Angels Camp Hospice Thrift Stores.

For more information regarding the fundraiser benefiting Hospice of Amador and Calaveras Counties, please visit www.hospiceofamador.org, or phone 209-223-5500.
And please help spread the word by sharing our event on your Facebook page!
