Register Now For Healthy Aging Event at Mark Twain Medical Center on April 3rd.
San Andreas, CA...Healthy aging is more than just physical health. It’s emotional, financial, and educational. Hosted by John Krutsinger of Edward Jones in Murphys, the event partners with three community non-profits; Hospice of Amador & Calaveras, Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation (MTMCF), and Mind Matters. Ageless – A Prescription for Healthy Aging by Robert Pokorski, MD will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, 12 noon at MTMCF, 768 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling 209-728-8923.
“Being healthy is important. When individuals consider their health they often only look at their physical body. Health encompasses all aspects of our life, including financial health”, John Krutsinger of Edward Jones said. “Dr. Pokorski’s presentation provokes one to think more broadly about their health.” Dr. Pokorski is certified by the Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University and has delivered more than 600 presentations to audiences worldwide.
“Research has proven the practice of gratitude improves health, which is why the event partners with three community non-profits” states Julie Eckardt-Cantrall, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation (MTMCF). “The Foundation, Mind Matters and Hospice missions all connect to health and we rely, in part, on gratitude to support our missions. We hope our guests walk away with an improved understanding of the many aspects of their health and a brief introduction on how financial planning can incorporate gratitude and benefit our community’s non-profits.” The event will include a 2 minute mission introduction by MTMCF, Mind Matters and Hospice of Amador & Calaveras.

The 2018 Greater Arnold Candidates Night is April 3rd
Arnold, CA...The 2018 Greater Arnold Candidates Night featuring those vying for County Sheriff & District 3 Supervisor is Tuesday April 3 at Sequoia Woods Country Club. The Schedule is: 5:00 to 6:00 PM: Meet & Greet Mixer in Lounge. 6:00 to 8:30 PM: Candidates Q&A Session in Ponderosa Room. 8:30 to 9:00 PM: Informal Conversations with Candidates. This event is for local voters who want to hear firsthand the candidates' positions on important issues. Taking questions from the floor is a time-consuming and logistically-challenged process, so instead, voters are asked to submit questions for the candidates to WeVote@ComeToArnold.com.
Time will be limited and it will not be possible to present the candidates with all questions received, so please follow these guidelines:
• USE THE SUBJECT LINE to help us categorize your question. As an example, "Neighborhood Watch" or "Snow Removal."
• THE SUBJECT SHOULD BE PERTINENT to the greater Arnold area, District Three (Vallecito to the Alpine County line) or all of Calaveras County.
• QUESTIONS SHOULD BE GENERAL, NOT PERSONAL, as all candidates will be responding to the same questions.
• Inquiries should be about MATTERS AFFECTING MOST CONSTITUENTS as opposed to minor or one-off concerns. • If you have MORE THAN ONE QUESTION, send one email for each. • You must INCLUDE YOUR NAME, just as you would identify yourself if asking a question at the event.
Questions must be received before April 2. Those with subjects most frequently-asked will be among those posed to the candidates at the event and not before. The remaining questions will be published at Candidates Night.
EVENT HOSTED BY GREATER ARNOLD BUSINESS ASSOCIATION
