All Day Community Passover Dinner & Seder
Murphys, CA...The Mother Lode Jewish Community (MLJC) will be holding its annual Passover Dinner and Seder this year in Murphys on Saturday, March 30th. Passover, which commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt, is one of the most important holidays in the Jewish religion.

The cost of $20 adult/$15 children for members and $25 adults/$20 children for non-members, no charge for those under 6. Please email us at motherlodejc@yahoo.com or call us at 209-533-1650 for more information.

The MLJC’s mission is to provide opportunities and events that nurture a vibrant and enduring Jewish identity, culture and community in the Mother Lode, drawing its members from Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa and Tuolumne counties. New members are most welcome.

Buck Brush Trail, Glory Hole Recreation Area
Can you outsmart the Bunny? Bring your GPS and find out! Ranger Greg has set up a Geocaching course along the Buck Brush trail. Learn tips of the trade as you come out to join the Geocaching craze! Fabulous prizes will be awarded. Participants must bring their own equipment. This is an easy 2-mile hike around the Buck Brush loop. We will meet at the Glory Hole Entrance Station at 10 a.m. and caravan down to the Buck Brush trailhead. Participants will be given a parking pass for the duration of the event.
