Torchlight Parade/Winter Explosion at Bear Valley on January 13th!
Bear Valley, CA...Join us for one of our biggest parties of the season! Once the lifts stop turning, we keep the party going! An evening of fun with dinner and live music, we then end the night with a bang, literally; with a torchlight parade and fireworks!
Special Winter Explosion Shuttle Hours: We will be running on the two bus shuttle schedule until 5pm. *NO village shuttle will be available after 5pm on Saturday.
9am-3pm: 22 Designs Demos on the Sundeck
Gear up for action-packed demos where cutting-edge designs meet the mountain's challenges. Experience innovation at its peak!
12pm-4pm: “Meet the Distillers” - Hinterhaus Distilling at Maury’s Bar
Savor the taste of finely crafted spirits as Hinterhaus Distilling takes center stage at Maury’s Bar. Meet the masterminds behind the award winning spirits!
1pm: Sign-ups for the Torchlight Parade begin (Sunroom)
Secure your spot for the Torchlight Parade, a thrilling escapade under the night sky. Sign ups will begin at 1 PM at the kiosk in the Sunroom. Only a limited number of sign ups are available and will be first come - first served. Sign ups must be done in person and can not be reserved in advance.
Torchlight Parade Participants: Torchlight participants MUST BE ADVANCED SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS capable of maintaining full control on advanced terrain (Porridge Bowl) in the dark while carrying a flaming torch. Participants are STRONGLY encouraged to wear gear that is ok to potentially be stained or damaged by embers and ashes falling from the torches. Bear Valley is not responsible for any staining or damage to participants equipment as a result of participating in the event. All participants must sign a liability waiver at time of sign up. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent present at sign up to sign the liability waiver.
3:30pm-7pm: Live music by Tarantula Banjo (Andy Roberts) at Maury’s Mustang Bar. Let the electrifying tunes of Tarantula Banjo by Andy Roberts set the rhythm for an evening filled with excitement. Dance, relax, and soak in the mountain vibes.
5:30pm: Dinner Special
Torchlight Dinner Menu - $30 per person
Green Salad with balsamic dressing, red bell peppers, cherry tomatoes
8oz Cab Baseball Steak served with roasted tri-color potatoes & a vegetable medley. Vegetarian Option: Roasted Portabella served with a vegetable medley
Dessert: Cakerie Cakes (lemon & strawberry)
You can purchase your dinner tickets on the day of the event at the following locations; Ebbetts Cafeteria, Monte Wolfe, Maurys Mustang Bar, & the Sunrise Cafe. Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 in Ebbetts Grill.
6:30pm: Chairlift loading for Torchlight participants begins
7pm: Torchlight Parade begins followed by fireworks
The moment you've been waiting for! Witness the mountain come alive with a mesmerizing display of torches illuminating the dark slopes, followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

Tuolumne, CA... Zero Gravity Rocks Black Oak Casino Tonight! Willow Creek Lounge @ Black Oak Casino 8-11PM. Zero Gravity is excited to make our 2024 debut at Black Oak Casino. It has been 5 months since we have performed in Tuolumne County and we can’t wait to see everyone! We have added more new tunes to our sets and we are looking forward to sharing some great music and having a fun time with everyone. Join us Saturday, January 13th at 8pm and let’s pack the Willow Creek Lounge and the dance floor!
