Stomp in the Snow with Jazztrax 4th Annual Snowshoe Stomp! On January 25th, 2009 COME ONE, COME ALL! Great fun, food, prizes, and music! The 4th Annual Jazztrax Snowshoe Stomp will be an exciting snowshoe event for the whole family!! The event will be held at Bear Valley Cross Country on HWY 4 on January 25, beginning at 10:00 am. place! The races include: one mile Kids’ Fun Run, 5K Junior/Adult race, and a 10K race. This is a qualifying snowshoe race for nationals to be held at Mt. Hood in March. Entry fees are $5.00: Fun Run……$20.00: 5K……$25.00: 10K Advanced registration is encouraged and entry forms can be gotten at Avery Middle School in Avery or at Hazel Fischer Elementary School in Arnold. Fees on race day will be an additional $10.00. Sorry, there is no online registration this year.
This is a fundraising effort for the Vallecito Union School District Music Department to help students pay for the Spring Tour. The Avery Middle School Jazz Band will provide music and the Vallecito Music Boosters will provide a hot lunch for all participants. Come out and get some great exercise and enjoy beautiful Bear Valley!
