Jamestown Business Robbery Still Under Investigation....Updated with Sketch of Supect

Jamestown, CA....Detectives have been diligently working on this case. They have been Canvassing the Jamestown area for additional leads. On December 20, 2008, A Composite Sketch of the suspect was completed. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 5’-10”, 160 lbs, Brown hair Flannel shirt with red and gray pattern, dark blue ball cap. The suspect had a thin/frail build and had a very offensive odor.....SUMMARY: On December 18, 2008, at approximately 5:50 PM, Tuolumne County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a possible Robbery and a fire at a business in the 10000 block of Highway 108, Jamestown CA.....

Deputies spoke with the business owner. She reported at approximately 5:30 PM, She was preparing to close for the evening, prior to closing, a male subject came into the business and proceeded to assault her. During the assault she lost consciousness and when she awoke, she found her business on fire. The victim was able to escape.

The victim sustained injuries from the assault and the fire. She was transported by Ambulance to the hospital.

The victim described the suspect as a white male adult. He was approximately 30-35 years old, 5’08”-5’10” tall and had a thin build. The suspect had no facial hair and had a distinct body odor.

At the time of this press release, Fire Investigators and Sheriff’s Office Detectives were still on scene. No additional information is available at this time.
