The Drumbeat of Proponents for Trinitas Continued Yesterday at the Board Meeting...Video Excerpts Enclosed~By John Hamilton

San Andreas, CA...At yesterday's Calaveras County Board of Supervisor's meeting, San Joaquin County Building industry representatives and Burnell Wealth Management's Principal, Cory Burnell, were on hand on hand to speak on behalf of the Trinitas project. They exhorted the county to let the project move forward for fiscal reasons. The planning commission date to review the revised draft environmental impact report has now been pushed back until February. Other and potentially larger developments.....

in the Trinitas Saga is what assurances did the county give the developers earlier in the project and if assurances were given what potential legal exposure does the county have now.

From what documents we were shown yesterday it appears the county's exposure may be significant. We were shown documentation of a meeting between a former department head and financial representatives of the Trinitas project in 2006. In that meeting the department head apparently gave the project favorable reviews and gave indication of a probable time line for progress on the project.

Many are starting to wonder that with the enormous financial challenges the county faces in the future if is this a battle the county can afford to fight? Most of the county personnel involved have already left office, retired or resigned and most of the work on this project was done in much different economic times.

Video excerpts from yesterday's meeting are below
