He's been an advocate for the disassembly of Ca for years.
The Republicans had their way- no new taxes, revenues , state services, schools rotted, parks closed, the roads went to hell, Ca was going downhill. It was a shame what Reagan did to Ca, then America, all for policies for the minority wealthy, and working majority got the shaft. A look at the economic data shows this, also the rise of wealth at the expense of the middle class. This economic inequality.
Jerry Brown was elected, enacted small tax increases, more on the wealthy, and ca came back. Schools, roads repaired , parks reopened, services needed renewed.
A comparison shows when the Republicans are in control, their main answer is NO, a state goes to hell.
The same applies to counties.
The question is do we want to regress, go backward, watch everything go to hell, or keep ahead of what needs to be done, - necessary things for a functional county and state?
