Undersheriff Whiting Graduates from the FBI National Academy

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office proudly announces that Undersheriff Rachelle Whiting has recently graduated from the FBI National Academy's Session 288. This 11-week program is highly selective and only accepts the top 1% of law enforcement leaders worldwide. The program is renowned for its academic excellence and offers advanced training in areas such as communication, leadership, and fitness.

Undersheriff Whiting's successful completion of five graduate-level courses and a challenging fitness program demonstrates her commitment to professional growth and excellence. The program had 198 participants, including 26 women, reflecting a diverse and inclusive leadership group. The session was further distinguished by the inclusion of 24 international law enforcement leaders, highlighting the global prestige of the program.

Sheriff Rick DiBasilio said, “Undersheriff Rachelle Whiting's graduation from the FBI National Academy is a significant achievement for our department. We are incredibly proud of her and confident that her new insights and skills will significantly contribute to the safety of our community”.

The FBI National Academy has been a cornerstone in the development of law enforcement leaders since its inception in 1935. It is located at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and shares its facilities with the training programs for new FBI special agents and intelligence analysts.

Undersheriff Whiting's dedication to serving Calaveras County with the highest standards of law enforcement leadership and expertise is apparent in her accomplishment. Her enhanced skills and insights gained from this distinctive educational experience will continue to benefit the community and Sheriff’s Office. Join us in congratulating Undersheriff Whiting on this prestigious achievement.
