EPSBA Announces Annual Meeting...Group Seeks Candidates for Board of Directors

Arnold, CA....The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association will conduct its annual meeting on Monday, November 3rd at 6pm at the clubhouse in Forest Meadows. Election of new board members will take place at the meeting. “The Byway Association is in an exciting growth phase,” said EPSBA Executive Director, Warren Alford. “This is an opportunity to join in and help connect the Byway experience to all the great things that happen in our area.”....

The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association formed in 2006 as a non-profit corporation to preserve the unique scenic, natural, historic, cultural, archaeological and recreational resources of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway and to enhance the quality of the travel experience along one of the last surviving wild Trans-Sierra routes.

The Board is the governing body of the EPSBA and it is the responsibility of the Board to direct and carry out the purpose of the Association. Board terms are for two years. Directors must be members in good standing of the Association. Every effort shall be made to elect Board members to represent a cross section of the communities and organizations with an interest in the Byway.

Through the spirited partnership of individuals, businesses, organizations and agencies, the Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association coordinates and implements preservation, enhancement and marketing projects consistent with the goals of the Ebbetts Pass Corridor Management Plan and is dedicated to maintaining the byway's integrity.

Anyone interested in serving on the EPSBA Byway Board should send a letter of inquiry and some basic background material to Warren Alford at: warren@scenic4.org

The EPSBA Board of Directors normally meets the fourth Monday of each month at 6pm, at the Clubhouse in Forest Meadows; however meeting times occasionally change due to weather or other factors. All are welcome. If you would like to attend, or have an item you would like to see addressed by the Board, please email us at info@scenic4.org or call (209) 795-2672 to confirm the meeting time and date.
