Kid's in Jenny's Kitchen with Jenny Baxter with Some Gourmet Yet Easy Kid Friendly Fresh Fruit Recipes!~With Jenny Baxter

Angels Camp, CA...Our boys, Granger and Grayson, along with Jenny's great nephew, Colen (who by the way is going to take after his Aunt Jenny in the kitchen) had the pleasure of gathering together Saturday afternoon to make some gourmet yet easy kid friendly fresh fruit recipes. The first was "Grilled Stuffed Chocolate Bananas", the second "Apple Balzamic Glazed Peaches" and the third "Fresh Orange Slices in Balsamic Apple Vinegar." .......

Apple Balsamic Glazed Peaches
1 peach half per person
1 Tablespoon Bellindora Balsamic Apple Vinegar per peach
Wash and dry the peaches. Cut in half and remove the seed. Place in a baking untensil and pour the vinegar over the top. Bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature. Chill or serve at room temperature.
Optional: Fill the seed cavity with whipped cream

Sliced Oranges in Balsamic Apple Vinegar
1 orabge per person
1 Tablespoon Balsamic Apple Vinegar per orange
2 Tablespoons Calaveras Mandarin Orange Olive Oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Place the oranges on a plate. Drizzle with the vinegar and olive oil. Season and serve.
Optional: Pour the juices that accumulate int he plate over some butterleaf lettuce. Add some slivered almonds, mandarin oranges and Feta cheese.

Grilled Chocolate Bananas
1 banana per person
Chcoolate chips
Coconut
Nuts of your choice
Mini marshmellows

Peel back the banana about three quarters of the way. Cut a wedged shape boat out of one side of the banana. Fill with your choice of toppings. Place the banana section that was cut over the top. Pull the peel back around the banana. Place in foil and wrap. Grill about 5 minutes per side.

The kids really enjoyed making these yummy treats...and eating them too!
